PRLog -- During the era of the psychedelic 60’s, design legend Eero Aarnio designed a Room Within a Room. This abstract concept was crafted into the likeness of a giant fiberglass hemi-sphere which sat on a pedestal, inside of which, its occupant(s) would be surrounded by lush, soft upholstery, creating a distinct but pleasant isolation effect. As his concept came to fruition, and began production, the Ball Chair, as we now refer to it, became recognized as an instant classic. The Ball Chair, which you’ve all seen somewhere or another, most often in TV & cinema because of its striking dramatic appearance, is now coveted around the world not only as one of the most distinctive shapes of the mid-20th century, but more-so as the ultimate escape pod.
