Avi Berger, Partner's CTO and VP Technologie offers Service-Provider Perspective at 4G Convention

Mr. Berger speaks at 4G-BMI Congress in Tel Aviv, introduces the "Orange Triple Internet" concept over FMC technolgy. "New trends will draw new services".

May 9, 2010 - PRLog -- Partner's CTO addressed what he calls "the growing need for broadband capacity". In his lecture he introduced the Orange Triple Internet concept which is based on Fixed-Mobile Convergence features. The service will enable users to shift a call between their mobile device and a landline device while being on a conversation.
"The Broadband is our vehicle for entertainment, communications, and information" says Berger, who stressed the need for wider spectrums for operators, and optimizations of Quality-of-Service management tools.

In addition, he mentioned the growing amount of devices each user now carries, and Partner's ability to synchronize effectively between different devices. "Orange", he said "is a leader in technology and service through its innovative services approach based on a decade of experience in Israel".

Mr. Avi Berger was appointed as Vice President, Technologies of Partner Communications Company Ltd effective January 1, 2009, having served as Deputy Vice President Technologies since joining the Company in December 2007. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Berger served as Vice President of Business Development in Tadiran communications Ltd. after having served for 21 years in the Israeli Defense Forces, rising the the rank of Colonel and Head of the C41 branch. Mr. Berger holds a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University, and a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering (Communication & Telecommunication) from UCLA.
