Kiteboarding Lessons on the Central Oregon Coast

 Kiteboarding is an amazing sport that allows incredible freedom to ride wherever there is steady wind, be it on land, snow, or water. With huge advances in equipment, kiteboarding is safer than ever to learn.

  Trainer Kite Only: 1 hr trainer kite $90
I will start with the basics of wind direction and recognizing safe vs. unsafe conditions. Then I will let you fly a trainer kite to get the feel for steering the kite and to feel the wind window and power zones.
Depending on progress with trainer, you may fly small version of traction kite.
After this lesson it is recommended that the student fly a trainer on their own and be completely comfortable with kite control.

2 1/2-3 Hr water lesson $225.
Before taking this class you should have completed the land lesson. You need to be able to fly the trainer one-handed, with your eyes closed with control in any part of the wind window. We will start on the 3m 4-line kite, and then take those skills to the water with a full-sized kite. We will cover water re-launches, body drags, board skills,and self-rescue with full-size kite.

All kite equipment is supplied including wetsuit.
