Tracy Toyota Provides Tracy Pd And Fd With Hybrids For Specialized Training

“Changes in the way cars are built and changes in automotive technology make specialized training for emergency response personnel, including the fire department, extremely important” said a Tracy Fire Department spokesperson.  “We’re grateful to Tracy Toyota for letting us practice our emergency procedures on their Prius and other hybrid vehicles”

Parts like engines and batteries are made with different materials today than they were made with years ago.  Emergency response professionals are having to modify and in some cases develop entirely new techniques to handle the different emergency situations they are confronted with in automotive emergencies today.
