Proceeds from the evening will go to AFP’s arts education program.
By: Art For Progress This event is not to be missed. Held in NYC previously, it has received support and rave reviews from attendees who enjoy viewing films they otherwise would never have the opportunity to see. If you love music and film, you have found the perfect fusion of both! Advance tickets can be purchased for $15 on Brown Paper Tickets at this link: http://www.brownpapertickets.com/ With films curated by Daniel Maldonado of Gashouse Films, recent winner in the New York Latino Film Festival, the night will provide a platform for guests to view innovative, compelling short cinema. Between films and afterwards, DJ’s will spin their magic into the morning hours. Representing the east coast, DJ’s Gatto (AFP) and Sal Leone (Rooftop Sessions) will spin, along with San Francisco DJ’s Chad Clubb (Midnight Soul) and Layne Loomis (Deep End). Diageo will also be providing drink specials throughout the night. “For those of us looking to experience something different, Shorts and Beats provides the perfect venue for hearing great DJ’s and seeing great film all in one place, and it’s for a good cause as well!” To learn more about “Shorts and Beats Volume VI, San Francisco,” contact me via email or phone at 646-345-9609.
