Girls are Blessings in Disguise – Love Them Save Them

May 6, 2010 - PRLog -- Girls are definitely blessings in disguise who make this world a really beautiful place to live in. The richness, the charm, and the beauty are instilled in the air around because girls are what they are. They are delicately created by God to continue human life on earth.

Why forget the biggest truth of human existence ‘every mother was born as a girl’. When she was born with ten tiny fingers and ten tiny toes a unique charm lightened her face and an unknown hope twinkled in her eyes. She was brought up with lots of love, care, and concern to help her fulfill her purpose in life. Years later, the same girl became a mother who gave birth to a human life. God has created mothers because He Himself cannot be everywhere. He has made mothers very soft and humble from within to feel the pain of her near and dear ones. At the same time, God has made her strong enough to bear the trials and tribulations of life.

Inspite of this universal truth, its sad to know that female feticide is still prevailing in the country. The ratio between boys and girls is dramatically declining that is directly posing a threat to existence of human life on earth. Whom are we killing? Girls or our own mothers who created us?

Education has definitely made a great influence on people regarding female birth but sadly there are still many illiterate and unlearned families existing in this country. Mostly in villages female feticide is at its highest. In the earlier days there were no technologies to test the foetus and therefore, people used to kill a girl child after her birth. Over a period of time, advancements and technologies introduced ultrasound and sonography but these proved to be a curse. Nothing has changed even after so much advancement, except that the female infanticide changed to female feticide.

That’s so heart-rending that even today people feel that girls are a burden and that’s all. Even mothers today are overjoyed after giving birth to a baby boy and if a girl gets delivered from her womb then she quietly moves on without any excitement and cheerfulness. Why are we doing all this? What if long back our own mothers thought about the same? Then where would our fate have taken us?

Determining whether a mother has a male or a female fetus is actually a crime but even then there are doctors, private clinics, and unregistered hospitals that continue with this malpractice. All these sources are casting dark shadows on the bright earth. Strict research should be done on such doctors and clinics and further strict actions must be taken against them.

Technology cannot step back but atleast we can open our eyes. Girls are truly beautiful, open your eyes and see innocence on her face, love in her eyes, and generosity in her heart. Just love them!

Give girls the freedom to discover the beautiful and wondrous world. Let her feel the glory of life and let her live her purpose. Remember that life would cease to exist on this earth without girls.
