New global compliance tool to be focus of Citation’s first U.K. visit

May 5, 2010 - PRLog -- Scottsdale, Ariz., May 5, 2010:  Citation Technologies announced today that it will be attending its first conference in the United Kingdom ― the Safety & Health Expo to be held May 11-13 in Birmingham, England. Citation’s focus in Birmingham will be its new Compliance Continuum ― a complete system designed to manage an organization’s environmental, safety and health compliance with regulations from more than 65 countries, including the U.K.

“Until now, there has been no effective way to determine which regulations are applicable to a particular site or facility. It’s always been a major research effort that takes a long time, costs a lot of money and leads to results of variable quality. By working with the right experts, we’ve come up with the solution and it’s called the Compliance Continuum,” said Ted Polakowski, Citation’s Senior Vice President.

Recently, a lubricant blending plant used the Compliance Continuum to generate an exhaustive list of U.K. rules that applied to their facility, which enabled them to build and implement an effective compliance plan.

“This is really an extension of the success we’ve had helping companies in the U.S. There are many international firms that have difficulty keeping track of regulations. The Compliance Continuum is designed to make that simple,” said Polakowski.
