The 44th Annual Bill Monroe Memorial Bean Blossom Bluegrass Festival will be held June 12-19, 2010 at the Bill Monroe Memorial Bluegrass Music Park & Campground in Brown County, Indiana and will feature some incredible Reunion performances!

May 5, 2010 - PRLog -- The 44th Annual Bill Monroe Memorial Bean Blossom Bluegrass Festival will be held June 12-19, 2010 at the Bill Monroe Memorial Bluegrass Music Park & Campground in Brown County, Indiana.  The 8-day event includes a stellar line-up of over 50 bluegrass bands, Youth Bluegrass Boot Camp, instrument and vocal workshops, jam sessions, camping, food, vendors, flea market and so much more.  Tickets can be purchased by phone (800) 414-4677 or at the park’s new website address at:  www.beanblossom.us or www.BillMonroeMusicPark.com

Festival attendees are sure to be thrilled with several special reunion performances this year.  On Friday, June 18, the highly anticipated Bluegrass Album Band Reunion will take place featuring Tony Rice, Bobby Hicks, and J.D. Crowe.  

On Saturday, June 19, Paul Williams, J.D. Crowe, Doyle Lawson will perform a special Jimmy Martin Tribute show, plus another feature for the day - a performance by Dr. Ralph Stanley with Larry Sparks.  It has been years for some of these legends have performed together, so fans will certainly not want to miss these treats!
