Peg Kelley Joins Board of Elbert County Libraries Foundation
Elbert County Libraries Foundation expands with addition of Bank of Choice vice president - market manger, Peg Kelley.
Kelley, vice president – marketing manager with the Bank of Choice’s Elizabeth branch since 2006, is a long time resident of Elbert County. She was previously the branch manager with the bank’s predecessor, Colonial Bank, from 1999 to 2006 and prior to that was manager of the Community Bank of Parker’s branch operation in Elizabeth. A community supporter, she has been actively involved with the Elizabeth Education Foundation, Elizabeth Area Chamber of Commerce, and Elbert County Economic Development Committee, having served as a board member on each.
“I am honored and pleased to add Peg to the foundation’s board of directors. As our foundation looks ahead at the resources required for its first major project, the new Elizabeth library, it’s important that we grow both our board and our ability to develop funding sources,” said Fred Beisser, president of the Elbert County Libraries Foundation.
“I am really looking forward to helping the foundation and the library district reach their goals for the transition into the new Elizabeth library facility,” said Kelley, “I was a member of Friends of the Library during the formation of the Elbert County Library District and I'm happy to be on board during this exciting time.”
