Follow on Google News | Kokatat Now Seeking Creative Designs for 40th Anniversary T-shirt Graphics Design ContestKokatat, the 39-year-old, independent paddlewear and accessories company, is gearing up for their big 4-0 anniversary year in 2011, and kicking off the milestone in style by launching a T-shirt graphics design contest.

The only eligibility is to be a Facebook Fan of Kokatat, as all submissions must be uploaded to the T-shirt Design Contest Album on Kokatat’s Facebook Page. The winner will be selected in the beginning of June by the Kokatat Inc. staff on the basis of originality, creative interpretation of the theme, and technical skill. Along with bragging rights, prizes will be awarded to the top three winners. First place will win a MsFIT Tour PFD, a TROPOS Light Breeze jacket for second place and OuterCore Long Sleeve shirt for third place. The t-shirt will be released at the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market 2010 as a commemorative prize for fans and friends of Kokatat. “After 40 years of producing paddlewear for people who work and play on the water, we are eager to offer this contest and integrate creative ideas from the brand’s followers,” said PR & field marketing manager Lisa Kincaid.
