By: thebluedoor Like MELLOW YELLOW Mayonnaise, MELLOW YELLOW Garlic Mayonnaise is additive free, and created from a recipe developed in Eli Farrington’s farmhouse kitchen. Eli combines her passion for great food with her commitment to the cold pressed rapeseed oil produced by her husband Duncan on their Northamptonshire farm. Eli developed the recipe blending British free-range eggs produced to RSPCA Freedom Food standards, with a crush of garlic, a hint of Dijon mustard and a lemony sharpness. This versatile Garlic Mayonnaise is the perfect accompaniment for a wide range of foods, including salads and cold cuts, as a sauce for meat, fish and shellfish, a dip for crudités and canapés, in sandwiches and hamburgers and even, as the French serve it, with soups. The MELLOW YELLOW Garlic Mayonnaise is made with Farrington’s famous cold-pressed rapeseed oil, and therefore takes advantage of its significant health benefits. Compared with other culinary oils, rapeseed oil contains the lowest levels of saturated fat (half that of olive oil), is one of the richest plant sources of omega 3, contains high balanced levels of omega 3, 6 and 9, as well as being a good source of natural vitamin E. Duncan Farrington comments: “We are extremely excited to launch the latest addition to the MELLOW YELLOW range, and have had a really positive response from taste tests.
