Dealership and Local Community to Raise Money for Hershey Christrian School

May 3, 2010 - PRLog -- Hershey, PA-Ford Motor Company and Maguire's Auto Family will be partnering to help raise money in support of the Hershey Christian School as part of Ford's "Drive One 4 Ur School" program.  Hershey area community members will have the opportunity to participate and help raise up to $6000 for Hershey Christian School by test driving a Ford Lincoln or Mercury vehicle at the Cambeltown Fire Hall and Fairgrounds 2818 Horseshoe Pike Cambelltown PA 17010.  This event will take place Saturday May 8th 8:00AM-4:00PM.

Ford Motor Company and Maguire's Auto Family will donate $20 to Hershey Christian School for every person from a unique household who test drives a 2010 Taurus, Fusion Hybrid, Mercury Milan or Lincoln MKT.  Participants will be raising money for the Hershey Christian School.  Maguire's Auto Family with dealerships in both Palmyra and Duncannon PA participated in Ford's "Drive One 4 Ur School program since the programs inception in 2007.  Maguire's has raised almost $13,000 to help six schools in that time.

Since the start of the program in 2007, Ford's "Drive One 4 UR School" program has raised more than $2.3 million for close to 700 high schools across the country and has enabled more than 125,000 people to test drive new Ford vehicles.  The monies raised during the "Drive One 4 UR School" program has helped fund extracurricular activities like sports and band programs, helping to ensure that these programs continue in local communities.

In addition to raising much needed revenue for high school extracurricular activities, Ford Motor Company's "Drive One 4 UR School" also gives participants the chance to take a look at Ford and Lincoln Mercury's exiting new cars and technologies.
