Chris Michael’s Boca Hosts Fundraiser For The Children's House Montessori School

May 3, 2010 - PRLog -- Chris Michael’s Boca, one of South Florida's newest restaurants, will be hosting a fun-filled happy hour to raise funds for The Children's House Montessori School. The party will feature a silent auction showcasing exciting items and services from local businesses, in addition to children’s art work from the school’s Art from the Heart program.


“The proceeds from the auction allow the children additional experiences and enhancement programs, as well as having the ability to offer a scholarship fund to families that may run into financial difficulties during the school year,” said Pat Derby, director of the school.


“Art from the Heart was designed by the parents to enrich the children’s experience at The Children's House,” explained event chair, Sonya Gossard. “The parents work with the children on numerous art projects that allow creative thinking, exploration, and education through art.”


“We are delighted to be hosting such a worthy cause,” said Joe Pellegrino, GM of Chris Michael’s Boca. “With our private rooms and upstairs party areas, Chris Michael’s is the perfect location for charity and social networking events.”
