May 2, 2010 - PRLog -- EnergySmart operates nationwide and is designed to encourage homeowners to replace old, inefficient heating and hot water systems by offering installers discounts on energy-saving equipment, such as high efficiency condensing boilers and solar hot water systems. If an installer is Gas Safe Registered, they can order any Ariston boiler, unvented cylinder or solar thermal hot water system at a discounted rate, simply by registering on the EnergySmart website - http://www.energy-smart.org.uk. Large shared bulk discounts are also available on these products. As a result, it can cost householders less to enjoy the benefits of Ariston’s premier low carbon, energy efficient heating appliances, as well as reduce the running costs of their homes.

EnergySmart was set up by Creative Environmental Networks (CEN), an organisation dedicated to delivering a range of services that engage householders, businesses and communities in environmental and social improvement. This is based on a partnership approach with heating manufacturers, such as Ariston, and a variety of other organisations including government bodies or charitable groups.

Ariston’s range of high efficiency Band A only boilers includes the E-COMBI, CLAS HE and GENUS HE ranges. GENUS HE and CLAS HE are the latest generation of ‘intelligent’ boilers. At their heart is the AUTO Function, an integral control system that significantly reduces running costs and carbon footprint by accurately matching boiler output to environmental conditions. CLAS HE is available in combi, system and regular (open vent) versions. The compact E-COMBI provides an entry level choice, featuring familiar condensing technology and modifications to fixing distances for ease of installation.

SOLARcomfort is a complete, ready-to-fit solar thermal water heating solution that has been designed for optimum UK performance. In response to current and upcoming demands, it can be used either with an existing water heating system or as part of a new installation. Recent changes to the range include a 2.5 metre flat plate solar panel as well as the original 2.0 metre option, both of which can be installed in multiples of two or three. The package consists of flat plate collectors, solar controller, pump station, fixings and accessories.

As solar thermal water heating systems require a hot water store to retain the heat energy collected from natural sources, SOLARcomfort can be integrated with most models from Ariston’s extensive range of unvented cylinders. The Primo Twin is particularly suitable for this purpose, as it is the only model of its kind to have not only twin coils but also twin immersion heaters, which can ‘top up’ the water temperature when required. Alternatively, in a traditional heating installation, both coils can be linked for faster recovery.

The Primo and Classico unvented cylinder ranges come with a 25 year tank guarantee as standard and are available in 100 - 300 litre capacities. Ariston also produces three sizes of direct wall-hung unvented cylinders, available in 50, 80 and 100 litres capacities.
