May 2, 2010 - PRLog -- The Gulf Shores Golf Association announced changes to the organization’s website today. The latest modifications improve ease of use by potential visitors, social network users and the media.

Anyone interested in learning about and/or planning a golf trip to the Gulf Shores/Orange Beach area can now view the association’s 2010 Golf Vacation Planner directly on the Golf Gulf Shores website. The interactive online golf planner features information on GSGA golf courses, local accommodations and restaurants, driving distances and maps. Site visitors can “flip” through the pages of the planner by clicking arrows in the upper-right corner of the screen or select specific page numbers from a dropdown box in the upper-left corner.

A landing page for visitors who discover the GSGA site via social networking has also been added. This page presents all the social options (Facebook, Twitter and Blogger) for following GSGA and shows the latest status updates.

To facilitate members of the press, the website now includes a press room image library where media members can access and request videos and images for non-commercial editorial use. Members can complete an online Media Assistance Form that, once accepted, will grant them a login password and access to the library of images.

Members can also contact Duncan Millar, Executive Director, at Duncan.Millar@golfgulfshores.com or 251-968-5539 to obtain an electronic media kit.
