Training for Success with Ariston
Whether you are an installer or a service engineer, training is essential in the development of skills that can extend the range of services you are able to offer as well as enhancing the profitability of your business. Ariston has always recognised the importance of effective training and is committed to supporting you with regular up-to-date, in-depth courses that are both convenient and cost-effective.

Available Courses from Ariston

Ariston’s training courses take place every month, both at the recently renovated training centre in High Wycombe and at a variety of regional locations across the country, including Barnsley, Leicester, Manchester and Caerphilly. Courses will now also be available in Birmingham from the end of April. Whatever the location, all courses are industry recognised and conducted by experienced trainers, covering every aspect of installation. Since the introduction of the CLAS HE and GENUS HE ‘intelligent’ boiler ranges, which include self diagnostics and digital scrolling text display, training emphasis is now less on fault-finding and more on how to install Ariston boilers and how they operate. There is also an increasing emphasis on the best way to utilise controls, such as the Outdoor Sensor, to further maximise the energy efficiency of these boilers.

Courses on offer include Ariston High Efficiency Product Training, Water Regulations and The ‘Energy Efficiency’ Institute of Domestic Heating & Environmental Engineers (IDHEE/Logic) Certification course. The Domestic Unvented Hot Water (G3) course has been modified in line with changes to G3 regulations and, in addition to the full one-day course, is now available as a half-day refresher course for those whose certificate is due to expire.

Getting Comfortable with Solar Thermal

In addition, Ariston offers two unique Solar Thermal courses, which can be taken by any installer who has their Domestic Unvented Hot Water (G3) Certificate. The two-day Logic Accredited Course is a comprehensive training course designed for installers new to solar thermal hot water systems and includes in-depth training on system specification, design and installation. Alternatively, for those who are already recognised installers of solar systems (Logic and BPEC), Ariston offers a one-day product familiarisation course on installing the SOLARcomfort solar thermal water heating solution. By attending either of these courses, installers are then eligible to join OASIS (Official Ariston Solar InstallerS), Ariston’s nationwide network of approved installers. The Training Centre, High Wycombe

The main High Wycombe training centre offers a practical training area that doubles as a showroom, as well as a comfortable theory room that is also used for seminar presentations. In the training area, trainees can practice their skills on six operating boilers, including the E-COMBI, a CLAS HE R regular boiler and a GENUS HE system model. There are also three plumbed-in unvented cylinders from the Classico and Primo ranges, a cut-away model of the Primo Twin, a Europrisma water heater and the SOLARcomfort solar thermal water heating system complete with solar panel, storage cylinder and controls. These ‘real life’ training stations mean our delegates get valuable hands-on experience with live gas and water connections.
