Free Comic Book Day at Comic Zone of Scottsdale, AZ

April 28, 2010 - PRLog -- Comic Zone of Scottsdale, AZ will be a participating retailer in Free Comic Book Day on Saturday, May 1st, 2010.

Free Comic Book Day is the first Saturday in May each year.  Three free comic books per customer, and another with each item purchased, while supplies last.  There will be many fun activities going on in the store.

The black-costumed Spider-Man will be making a personal appearance in the store for the majority of the afternoon to meet and greet our guests. Think of the photo ops!  We will also be hosting local author, Tom Leveen, who will be available to sign his new young adults novel, “PARTY.”  Local artist, Andy Costello, will be available all day for free sketches.

Folks from Phoenix Comicon will be in the store to answer questions about the upcoming convention.  Fun comic book and cartoon theme song music playing all day!

A generous selection of Iron Man comics and graphic novels while supplies last, before the movie comes out.

Comic Zone is the best and only comic book store in Scottsdale, Arizona, conveniently located at 5909 N. Granite Reef Rd., Scottsdale, AZ 85250, just off the 101. Take McDonald Drive to the second traffic light (Granite Reef Rd).  Comic Zone is on the west side of the Basha’s parking lot, facing Granite Reef Rd. just two doors down from Casella’s Deli.

The store features ever-changing and ongoing sales, regular comic book discussions, monthly writing groups, monthly drawing groups, and much more. Come on by. You will like what you find.
