April 28, 2010 - PRLog -- (Tampa) – The 2010 Backstage Artist Lounge™ Tour completed yet another successful tour date backstage at Rockfest with Alice In Chains, Limp Bizkit, Puddle of Mudd, Sevendust, Hell Yeah!, Paper Tongues, Evan’s Blue, SOIL, American Bang, Monroe Brown, Soulidium and Smile Empty Soul. Behind the scenes with BAL Creator, Christina Martin, bands checked out products from official BAL partners: Tippman Sports, Sleek Audio, Civil Society Clothing, Atomic Tattoos, H2O Salon & Spa, Ksino Apparel, Seminole Hard Rock, Forged, Handsome Devil Clothing, Recycle-A-Flask, Rag Dynasty, Creative Recreation Shoes,  Revolver Magazine, Guitar World, Strings By Aurora, Anama, She’s Crafty, All About Sweets, Sticker Giant, Xzavier Clothing, Forged Clothing, Flair Hair Visors, Ten Two Designs, Jessie Steele, and Natura Chips available at Whole Foods.

The centerpiece of this particular Backstage Artist Lounge was a life-size guitar cake made by local Tampa bakery, All About Sweets, featuring band names and artwork. All About Sweets also created “All Access” cookies which came strung to be worn around the neck and actually looked like an All Access Pass. All About Sweets was one of several renowned local sponsors featured in this Backstage Artist Lounge. “Coming into a new city on a new tour date, BAL loves meeting the companies in town who officially rock,” explains BAL Creator, Christina Martin, going on to say, ”All About Sweets, H2O Salon and Atomic Tattoos officially ROCK!” H2O Salon & Spa styled band members’ hair while wearing hot designer aprons by Jessie Steele, while Atomic Tattoos—widely regarded as the best tattoo artists in the area—displayed their book of work to discuss tattoo artwork with band members.

Natura Chips celebrated this being their first ever BAL tour date, gifting rock stars samples of Natura Plantain Chips, Natura Plantain Chips Ripe and Natura Sweet Potato Chips. Available at Whole Foods, Natura Chips are now a favorite snack backstage on tour in 2010!

Tippmann Sports showcased the latest paintball markers as part of their “Tippmann Rocks” campaign—covering the entire 2010 BAL Tour schedule with Tippmann as the only paintball company positioned at this highest level of the touring rock world inside the Backstage Artist Lounge.

Sleek Audio sized bands for custom in-ear monitors, wowing band members with a demo of their blue-tooth capabilities.

Bands wore official BAL wardrobe partners on-stage. The Lead Singer of Evans Blue rocked a shirt by Ksino on-stage, while the guitarist rocked a shirt by Anama. More and more, famous bands are strictly wearing official BAL wardrobe partners on tour. She’s Crafty accessorized the bands with gorgeous belt buckles.
Rockfest’s Backstage Artist Lounge benefited The Angelus, a home for severely handicapped people who are not able to care for themselves. The Angelus was suggested by Backstage Artist Lounge official partner Seminole Hard Rock. Seminole Hard Rock donated gift bags to band members as well as a guitar that Christina Martin had autographed by Alice In Chains for Seminole Hard Rock to present to The Angelus for auction at their annual guitar auction.
Upcoming Backstage Artist Lounge tour dates are Kid Rock’s Chillin’ The Most Cruise in the Cayman Islands, as well as Buzzfest in Houston with Three Days Grace, Seether, 30 Seconds to Mars and Cage the Elephant.
