April 27, 2010 - PRLog -- Reality does NOT bite when you see the perfect melding of Fashion and Fluff & Fold where everyday Americans wash their clothes. The unexpected happened at Spin Spa Laundry in Pacific Beach, California, just 5 months after they opened their doors.  No 15 , a new Fashion Magazine http://www.no15magazine.com/, scheduled to premier May 1, 2010, came calling to do a photoshoot.  The result was a laundromat fashion extravaganza, with all the superstar glamour that one expects at an haute couture show.  While most of the patrons of Spin Spa didn't come in their latest fashion, nor did they have the benefit of makeup artists and hair stylists, the laundromat was transformed into a place of high style. It was entertaining to say the least and frankly uplifting to have the juxtoposition of the mundane with the magnificent.  While polyblends and denims spun in the machines, sequins and satins swaggered down the aisles of the laundry.  Regulars sat at cafe tables with their laptops surfing the internet, sending emails like they were fashion critics sending their reviews back to their editors.  While the regulars might not be wearing the runway designs they viewed, it did provide an exciting diversion from a usual day at the laundromat.  If the models from "Project Runway" ran "The Great Race" through "Top Chef's" Kitchen, they might just wind up at the Spin Spa Fluff & Fold in  a 4th generation reality TV Series.
