Avanta goes the distance in support of Sparks Summer Race Night

April 27, 2010 - PRLog -- For the past three years, Avanta has sponsored a Sparks Race Day at Kempton Park, which has collectively raised over £50,000 for the charity. This year, the serviced office company has decided to support an existing racing event instead by sponsoring the silent auction for the evening.
With more than 16,000 people expected to attend the special event, both to enjoy the excitement and thrill of horse racing and to dance the night away at the Simply Red concert that follows, the Race Night promises to be a fantastic evening out whilst raising much needed funds for research into paediatric medicine.  In addition to funds raised on the evening, Sparks has also been chosen as the benefitting charity of the Epsom Derby Festival on June 4th and 5th this year.
“Sparks supports some of the most important medical research being undertaken today into childhood illnesses and so we are proud to continue our support of their activities during 2010,” comments David Alberto, Avanta’s managing director. “We recently helped them raise £6,500 at the Avanta Rugby Legends dinner in London, and despite the challenging economic climate, I fully expect the Sparks Summer Race Night to be exceptionally well supported and provide crucial funds for an exceedingly worthwhile charity.”
