Times Private Treaties Invests In Prestige and Pharande Promoters

April 27, 2010 - PRLog -- Times Private Treaties has announced investments in the Bangalore-based Prestige Group and the Pune based Pharande Group. With these investments, Times Private Treaties today has a stake in more than a dozen real estate firms across the country.

The Prestige Group has more than 184 developments which include apartment enclaves, shopping malls and corporate structures. The Prestige Group has specialized in the development of commercial projects including multiplexes, malls and residential projects targeted at high income and middle income customers. Bangalore-based Prestige group is making plans to launch eight new projects in the residential space and affordable housing projects on Kanakapura road and Subramanyapura road. The company has developed 20 million sq feet and has 13 million sq feet under development. It is working on developing malls in Bangalore, Mysore, Kochi, Hyderabad and Chennai, which will total around 5 million sq ft.



Similarly, the Pharande Promoters and Builders have emerged in the past decade and a half as one of the pre-eminent builders of unique and high quality residential projects in
Pune. Pharande Promoters are currently executing projects in the industrial township Pimpri Chinchwad. Set up in 1992 by Anil Pharande, the firm has constructed more than 1.7 million sq.ft residential spaces and developed more than 100 acres of land. Pharande Promoters have built a range of residential projects, including bungalows, row houses and
apartments in industrial townships. Pharande Spaces are amongst the most dynamic construction companies in the Pradhikaran area of Pune, with a compounded annual growth rate of 50 % in the period 1999 to 2005, almost 100 % in 2005 – 2006 and 130% in 2006-2007 and 150% in 2007-2008.


Times Private Treaties has also invested in Kumar Properties and Kanakia Spaces, apart from investments it has made in Real Estate focused funds. Its real estate investment
portfolio also includes HDIL, KSL & Industries, Lavasa Corporation, Lok Housing, Mantri, MVL Limited, Marg Limited, Runwal properties, Ritesh Properties, Sobha Builders, amongst others.
