April 23, 2010 - PRLog -- Children’s author Jennifer Phillips of Nose in a Book Publishing released a new article about a helpful creative problem-solving technique on her web site. This article is free to download for personal and educational uses.

The 937-word article titled What Hat Are You Feeling? is written for boys and girls ages 13 up, along with parents. It introduces Six Thinking Hats as a simple, fun way to tackle problems and evaluate ideas. The technique—used increasingly in business and education—is proven to enrich discussion and decision-making while minimizing unproductive debate and hurt feelings. The article includes two examples of using this technique in teen-related scenarios.

Phillips posts free downloads at http://www.noseinabookpublishing.com every few months. A Shoreline, Washington resident, Phillips also is the author of two book biographies, Elijah Lovejoy’s Fight for Freedom and Nina Kosterina: A Young Communist in Stalinist Russia.

More downloads and information about these biographies can be found on the web site.
