When is the asian trading session for forex trading? PFR releases trading times for Forex members

April 21, 2010 - PRLog -- Asian trading session times for the Forex markets were confirmed today by leading online education and training provider for currency markets Proforexroom.com - PFR.  Members are advised that the Asian session incorporating markets in Auckland, Sydney and Tokyo / Hong Kong are as follows;

PFR wished to clarify that the Asian Session (Tokyo) session generally represented by markets in Tokyo, the Asian session generally is the first market of the day. Unofficially, activity in this session is represented by the Tokyo capital markets, which are live from midnight to 6am GMT - Greenwich Mean Time. There are many other countries with considerable influence that are represented during this period including China, Australia, New Zealand and Russia, among others. Considering how scattered these markets are, it stands to reason that the beginning and end of the Asian session are stretched beyond the standard Tokyo hours. Allowing for these different markets' activity, Asian hours are often considered to run between 11pm and 8am GMT.

PFR went on to say that members are advised that the Proforex Live Trading room opens at 8 AM Central European time and runs through to 6 pm Central European Time.
