National Human Resource Development Network's HR mission to Australia

We are pleased to inform you that National Human Resource Development Network (NHRDN) in association with Australian Trade Commission, the Australian Government’s trade and investment development agency is planning to take a HR mission to Australia

April 21, 2010 - PRLog -- The mission will coincide with the Australia Human Resources Institute (AHRI) National Convention organized by Australian Human Resources Institute in Melbourne, Australia from 10 - 11 May 2010.

AHRI National Convention is one of the biggest events in the world for the Human Resource and People Management professionals. This flagship event would bring together distinguished international and local thinkers who could both engage and inspire us. These world class speakers would enable you to better confront and deal with the many business challenges we face now and into the future.

The objective of the Mission would be two – fold:

I. As delegates, exposure to the following:

a. Programme (10-12 May 2010): It will feature a range of international and local thought leaders revealing new ideas in business and research which will provide insight into the application of HR and people management initiatives from across a range of workplaces and settings

b. Networking with senior HR thought leaders and international speakers

c. Exhibition: Apart from the programme, you would also get a chance to visit Australia's largest HR Tradeshow (Exhibition) at the National Convention.

The exhibition would host more than 100 exhibiting organizations.

II. Exposure to the best HR practices of some of the leading Australian companies (12-14 May 2010). The mission, which comprises of HR/IR personnel from Indian companies, would provide an opportunity to obtain first-hand exposure to various innovative and successful HR practices implemented at some of the leading companies and an insight into how organizations are maximizing the effectiveness of HR function.

Members willing to be part of this Observers Team cum Experience sharing Mission are requested to confirm their participation through the Reply Form. Reply Form should reach NHRDN on or before 25 April 2010, and can be downloaded from the following link: Download Reply Form: Download Reply Form

A delegate fee of Rs 30,000 per participant for facilitating the mission would be charged by NHRDN. All the expenses including Visa, Ticketing, Boarding and Lodging, Local Travel etc. would be borne by the participants as per actual.

The approximate cost per day per participant would be as follows:

After getting the confirmation from the members’, a check list would be sent to them for completing the formalities. Limited seats are available. Final participants list would be firmed-up after a scrutiny by NHRDN team. The mission would be subject to last minute changes, at the sole discretion of NHRDN.
