By: Charlotte Ellis Public Relations is crowned Miss Central London 21 year old spa manageress Lora Jayne Nuttall was crowned Miss Central London during the first heat of Miss Great Britain, the oldest and most prestigious beauty competition in the UK. In second place came sultry Farrah Sattaur, a model and actress from Luton, and in third place 20 year old student Kirsty Nichol, reading for a degree in English at Queen Mary University of London. Lora, whose ultimate ambition is to be on stage in the West End, says 'I am thrilled to have won, I really didn't expect to! I'm now looking forward to taking part in the final' The competition was judged by OK magazine columnist Nikki Grahame, former Miss Great Britain Brooke Johnstone, ITV's stylist John Scott, fashion presenter Julian Bennett and Jo Emma Larvin, former girlfriend of world champion boxer Joe Cazalghe. The event was a triumph for Liz Fuller, the new CEO of Miss Great Britain who had brought some revolutionary changes to the beauty contest by allowing single mums and divorcees to enter for the first time in its 65 year old history.
