$2 Billion Condo Financier To Speak At Tuesday's Seminar
Condo financier Andy Elfmont joins Condo Vultures® seminar panel April 20 at the Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay.
For four decades, Elfmont has worked quietly to arrange construction, mezzanine, permanent, and restructuring financing for some of the biggest developments in town, including the 900 Biscayne condominium, Quantum on the Bay, and Metropolis.
Elfmont, who is the managing director of Elfmont Associates in Coral Gables, has agreed to participate in the upcoming Condo Vultures® seminar "The Future of Condo Development in South Florida" scheduled for Tuesday, April 20, at the Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay Hotel just north of Downtown Miami.
Elfmont will be joined on the panel by Isos Y. Stamelos-Monroe, who leads the current preconstruction condo sales efforts for the proposed Sky Palace at Mary Brickell Village tower, and Howard Shapiro, one of the developers of the Brickell on the River condominium complex in Greater Downtown Miami.
Stamelos-Monroe has a decade of experience in real estate, including four years as director of acquisitions for veteran developer Evangeline Gouletas´ Skyline Equities Realty. In this role, Stamelos-Monroe is responsible for cultivating and maintaining the company's business relationships with opportunity funds, private investors and various clientele around the globe.
Shapiro and his partners, who built the two-tower Brickell on the River complex with more than 90 floors and 700 units in Greater Downtown Miami, were one of the first developers to slash prices to the $200 per square foot range, triggering a buying frenzy in the South Tower of their project. The move has been well publicized by the New York Times, Miami Herald, and other newspapers.
Condo Vultures® founder Peter Zalewski will moderate the panel discussion examining the latest trends in South Florida condo development.
At the seminar, Zalewski plans to unveil the newest CondoVultures.com report that details the first quarter condo closings of developer units in Greater Downtown Miami.The trends will be discussed by the panel of experts.
The program begins at 6.30 pm and is preceded by a one-hour networking session that starts about 5.30 pm.
