Legendary Horror Director to Attend & Present a Charity Auction Slot at BuyaMovieRole's Auction

Anthony (Tony) Hickox comes from a family of filmmakers. He is the eldest son of the director Douglas Hickox and Academy Award winning editor Anne V. Coates and brother of editor Emma E. Hickox  and director James D.R. Hickox. He is also the great grandson of Lord J. Arthur Rank who controlled the British film industry for many years.
Under rated, he was one of the premier horror writer/directors of the 90's. His unique visual style often uses a dual-focus technique in which one person's face would take up most the screen in profile, with another person shown on the other half of the screen in the background.
He then started directing action movies after creating the television show 'Extreme' for ABC/Universal (he is an extreme skier himself). This led to HBO hiring him to make there first action/horror 'Full Eclipse' which spawned their Friday night action slot that lasted over 5 years and which Hickox made several.
He then went on to direct Steven Seagal in 'Submerged' and Eddie Griffin in 'Blast', both were Blockbuster premiers and made over $15million a piece on dvd alone. Sadly they were not good movies, but it seems that he is now doing what he does best with British horror movie 'Knife Edge' just about to come out and a remake of 'cat people', which he is shooting in 2010. He is also working on a video game 'Invasion Earth!' with his writing partner Pete Atkins and is in development on 'Galahad' for Gale Anne Hurd.
He has recorded very funny commentaries for his cult film Sundown:the vampire in retreat,Storm Catcher, Jill Rips, and Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth, which is available only on the Region 2 box set release of the Hellraiser trilogy.
He frequently makes cameos in his films and has had starring role in Stanley Sheff's Lobster Man from Mars (1989), Storm Catcher and Prince Valiant. His best known acting role was as Dr Hickox in Return Of The Living Dead 3 where he is attacked and killed by a zombie then comes back to life as a zombie himself!
He is also known for dating his actresses, most famously Naomi Campbell, Charlize Theron, Deborah Foreman, Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz.
