JSM Financial: Bank of America appoints outsider Charles Noski as CFO.

Ex Northrop Grumman Corp CFO steps into BoA position.

April 14, 2010 - PRLog -- JSM Financial has learned that Charles Noski has been named by Bank of America Corp, the U.S.’s biggest bank by assets, as the firm’s next chief financial officer.

The 57 year old Noski will take over as CFO from the beginning of May. Prior to accepting the new position, he served as chief financial officer of Northrop Grumman Corp. a defense contractor. It is believed that he left that firm in 2005. Before this, he was CFO for telecoms giant AT&T between 1999 and 2002.

The new appointment forms part of the banks ongoing reshuffle of senior management initiated in January by the new Chief Executive Brian Moynihan, JSM Financial understands.

"This is more of Moynihan putting his fingerprints on the company," said a bank analyst monitoring the situation.

During the course of his career, JSM Financial research revealed, Charles Noski has served on a variety of high profile boards including those of Microsoft Corp, Morgan Stanley, AT& T, Automatic Data Processing Inc and Northrop Grumman.

Noski’s acceptance of the new position means that he will be leaving Morgan Stanley’s board where has served as chairman of the company’s audit committee.
He will however remain on as chairman of Microsoft’s audit committee.

JSM Financial sources indicate that Neil Cotty, BoA’s interim CFO will resume his responsibilities as chief accounting officer.
