April 12, 2010 - PRLog -- HUBER HEIGHTS, OHIO – Dr. Robert “Trapper” Phillips is happy to announce his union with Heights Chiropractic Physicians, LLC, located at the intersection of Taylorsville and Old Troy Pike.  Dr. Phillips is eager to bring his expertise in Chiropractic care and compassion for the community to the Huber area.

Dr. Trapper Phillips graduated from Miami East High School where he excelled in both athletics and academics.  From there, he received his Bachelor’s degree in Zoology and a minor in Neuroscience from Miami University in Oxford.  He continued to play baseball for Miami and was a founding father of the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity on campus.  Dr. Phillips continued his education at Life University, College of Chiropractic in Marietta, Georgia, just outside of Atlanta.  He graduated magna cum laude and was a member of the Chiropractic Honor Society, Delta Sigma Chi.  Following graduation, he moved back to the Miami valley to begin practicing.

Dr. Phillips holds an Advanced Proficiency Rating in the Activator Methods Chiropractic Technique, which is the highest awarded, in addition to being greatly skilled in manual adjustments.  He takes pride in the fact that he cares for entire generations of families, from children to grandparents in order to help them not only experience less pain, but to also be able to do more activities they enjoy.  He also enjoys working with athletes to help them achieve their optimum performance.

Chiropractic is now one of the top five career choices for American in the new millennium and is one of the most sought after forms of health care amongst Americans.  In fact, nearly half of all Americans make visits to chiropractic offices and other alternative health care providers, accounting for over $27 billion of the annual gross national product.

“Our patients understand that chiropractic care is a vital part of their active lifestyles and that regular chiropractic care can even boost the body’s natural immunity,” said Dr. Phillips.  Patients who receive chiropractic care make an average of 30% fewer visits to traditional medical doctors.  The patient of today is changing their attitude of health and is moving away from the notion of prescribing a pill for every social and physical malady.  “People are becoming more actively responsible for their own health than ever before,” said Dr. Phillips. “With the depressed economy and the fact that people are attempting to keep costs down, Chiropractic care is an affordable way to continue to lead a productive, more fulfilling life.”

In his free time, Dr. Phillips enjoys spending time with his beautiful daughter and playing the drums, as well as volleyball and softball with his family and friends.  He is a season ticket holder for the Dayton Dragons and an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and Cincinnati Reds.    He is an energetic and compassionate Chiropractor who truly enjoys helping all ages of people in the community restore their health in order to live a better life!!  Call 235-2225 to schedule your appointment with Dr. Phillips or go to www.heightschiro.com for more information.
