Schoolscapes Ltd. Achieves ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 Accreditation

April 8, 2010 - PRLog -- Schoolscapes Limited, a designer, manufacturer, supplier and installer of playground equipment and outdoor furniture based in Wadebridge, announces a significant milestone in their quality and environmental management systems and standards. Schoolscapes has achieved the BS EN ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 accreditation from Independent European Certification (IEC). ISO 9001 is accepted worldwide as the inclusive international standard that defines quality and ISO 14001 is the internationally recognized standard for Environmental Management Systems (EMS).
To become registered as ISO 9001:2008  and ISO 14001:2004 compliant, Schoolscapes underwent a stringent evaluation process that included quality and environmental management system development, documentation review, pre-audit, initial assessment, and clearance of non-conformances. The process culminated in a comprehensive two-day registration audit by Independent European Certification (IEC).
