-- That action has not been taken to bring the culprits to book is more damning than the incidents themselves because it raises questions about the integrity of religion as a whole," said Glenn Rogers, CEO of global publisher and publicity strategist Hong Kong-based Mediazone Group.
"While most thinking individuals are easily able to see that most religions are truly divisive in their nature, the general public remains fodder for these merchants of salvation, often entrusting their children to pastorial care. Now, it appears that beneath all the sacraments and display of holiness, there lurks a true evil that is being allowed to grow and prey upon the very tenets the church claims to rest. The history of the church is itself a chronology of crimes against humanity and now once again, its evils stand exposed. The question before us is -- what are we going to do about it?"
"I have always held that celibacy isn't practical. Putting men in frocks and forbidding them to have sex isn't natural. These incidents, mistakes are expected. What is important is that the church has no choice but to allow such crimes to go unpunished because to begin a policy of accountability will question the infalliblity of the Pope himself and begin a whole new internal policing programme which would question of the necessity of the religion itself."
"I am ashamed of the church and call upon catholics world-wide to boycott the catholic church until the Vatican recognises the need to save our children from the predators lurking within its folds."
