Regulatory Compliance Expert Adrienne Braumiller to speak at International Trade Export Seminar

The International Trade Center’s award winning Global Market Series-Export Training now offered in webinar/seminar formats welcomes expert Adrienne Braumiller, of Braumiller Schulz, LLP to address Export Regulatory Compliance topics on April 22nd.

April 19, 2010 - PRLog -- The Global Market Series-Export Certification, an award winning seven part series presented by industry experts and certified by the U.S. Department of Commerce, will be available by webinar/seminar and will feature Adrienne Braumiller, of Braumiller Schulz, LLP. She will be speaking April 22nd on topics regarding Legal Issues and Regulatory Compliance for Exporting. Attendees can participate in person or via webinar.  

With well over 20 years of experience, Adrienne Braumiller, Braumiller Schulze, LLP, is widely recognized as a leading authority in Customs, import, export, and ITAR compliance.  She has presented as a distinguished lecturer for such groups as the American Association of Exporters and Importers, the Import Compliance Professional's Association, the American Petroleum Institute, and the National Association of Foreign Trade Zones.  

In January of 2008, Ms. Braumiller was appointed by Secretary of the Treasury, Henry Paulson, Jr., and Secretary of Homeland Security, Michael Chertoff to serve a second, two year term on the Departmental Advisory Committee on Commercial Operations of Customs and Border Protection (COAC).  In this role, Ms. Braumiller will serve as one of several members representing the interests of importers and their agents.  During her term, Ms. Braumiller is expected to assist with many critical topics related to trade facilitation and security, including program initiatives as well as legislative mandates.

Braumiller Schulz LLP is a Customs and International Trade law firm based in Dallas with affiliated offices in Chicago, Los Angeles and San Luis Potosi, Mexico.

The full Export Certificate Program seminar series covers the steps in the export process with a strong emphasis on compliance. The Export Certificate Program welcomes other leading industry experts on related topics including: identifying public resources available to assist in country research and financing; learning the government agencies role in export procedures & mandatory compliance requirements regarding such topics as licensing and recordkeeping requirements and penalties, how to complete the required AES (Automated Export System), EEI (Electronic Export Information) and becoming familiar with non U.S. regulations and compulsory marks, the CE Mark and CCC; the basics of international payment procedures; and how to work with your freight forwarder to navigate the logistics and documentation maze.

The complete Export Session Series dates are April 15, 22 and 29, 2010.

Afternoon Session: 1:00-2:30 pm.
