Bill Bellamy's "Who's Got Jokes?" Winner J. Reid Filming Half-hour Comedy Special At Laugh Factory

April 7, 2010 - PRLog -- LAS VEGAS — Rising comedy star J. Reid will perform on April 22, 2010 at the Laugh Factory in Long Beach, CA. This past fall, the 26-year-old funnyman beat out 24 comedians on Bill Bellamy’s television comedy competition “Who’s Got Jokes?” to take the title of the funniest comedian and “Jokes” champion. As the season’s winner, Reid will have his performance at the Laugh Factory filmed for his own half-hour comedy special titled “LMAO (Laughing My Ass Off)” that will air on TV One in the fall. Reid’s performance at the Laugh Factory Long Beach starts at 8 p.m. Tickets for the show are $10.

“Winning ‘Jokes’ has transformed my life. I’ve been busy touring around the country doing what I love and giving people what they need during these times, which is laughter,” said Reid.

In the comedy industry since age 19, the Las Vegas native, has performed stand-up comedy in notable venues such as The Hollywood Improv, Laugh Factory, The Comedy Store and was featured on BET's "Coming to The Stage." Additionally, Reid appeared in the movie "21" and was voted as one of Las Vegas' Most Beautiful People in 2008. Last summer, he traveled to Iraq to entertain U. S. Army troops. Currently, he is performing with comedian Bill Bellamy on “The Ladies Night Out Tour.”
