Follow on Google News | Nh Roller Derby Takes To The Track For Their Home Season Opener April 24th at the JFK in Manchester!Skate Free or Die All-Stars return to defend undefeated 2009 home season
Defending their undefeated 2009 home season, the Skate Free or Die All-Stars are going for a three-peat after two big wins over Garden State in 2009. NHRD’s B-Team, the Queen City Cherry Bombs will make their public debut against the Petticoat Punishers of Central Mass Roller Derby in a 30-minute exhibition bout before the main event. DJ Adam Furious of Rock 101 and the Boston Derby Dames’ Pelvis Costello will be calling the bout play-by-play for fans, and the band Bar Sinister, from Lowell, MA will be rocking the half-time entertainment. Fans can rub elbows with their favorite rollergirl at the NHRD after-party sponsored by Spare Time Bowling Center in Manchester. (Attendees receive 10% off their food order with their ticket stub from the evening’s bout.) Tickets are $8 in advance via the NHRD website (nhrollerderby.com) About NH Roller Derby NHRD is New Hampshire’s first all-female flat track roller derby league with members from central/southern New Hampshire and central Massachusetts. NHRD is a skater-owned and operated 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which promotes women’s athleticism while giving back to the local community.
