The 2nd Annual Art in the Dunes Festival will kick off the season with a promotion at the Earth Day event at the Living Desert, Palm Desert, CA on April 17th, 2010.

April 4, 2010 - PRLog -- The 2nd Annual Art in the Dunes Festival will be promoting their upcoming event while participating in the Earth Day Celebration "Party for the Planet" on April 17, 2010 at the Living Desert in Palm Desert, CA from 9am to 5pm.  Call 760-346-5694 extention 2000 for more information.  

Rich Lopez of Cabot's Museum will be demonstrating "thowing" pots and will be available to discuss the upcoming Art in the Dunes Festival to be held later in November of 2010.

Held on-site, Earth Day at The Living Desert, visitors can get back to nature with lots of fun activities for the kids, live entertainment, an art show, plant giveaways, and of course, all the cool animals at the zoo! There will also be many vendors and exhibitors, who are carefully chosen not only for the products they sell, but for their expertise and knowledge about desert life, education, preservation, and conservation. General Admission will be half price in honor of the celebration, members are free.
