The group consists of 10 family members (six girls and four boys) determined to deliver their ministry to the rest of the world “We’ve been singing together for thirteen years. It comes natural to us and is something we feel we have to do. Our father is a pastor and our mother a Missionary. Spreading the word of God is what we were born to do.”

On March 14, 2009 at Greater Temple Chapel Baptist Church of Kentwood, LA, The Showers Family recorded their debut album “Hear My Prayer” inspired by Psalms 39. The album contains a medley of hits that appeals to all gospel music lovers. The current single “Thank You Jesus” is making its way to radio stations across the country as the family prepares to hit the road spreading Gods word. “We couldn’t do this alone. We need each other and Gods love and mercy to guide us. This isn’t work, it’s a message and we won’t stop until the world has heard” says Regina Gordon. They weren’t alone when it came to their vision. Aquila & Priscilla Record Company signed The Showers Family Singers to its label in October of 2009.
