Capelli Shop Celebrates 1st Anniversary With New Stylist, Services And Donations Drive

March 30, 2010 - PRLog -- A year following its opening, owners of The Capelli Shop, Bucks County’s most original boutique hair salon and 2009 “Best of Philly” award recipient, are pleased to announce the addition of a new stylist, new salon services, and a donation campaign to benefit A Woman’s Place.

Capelli Shop co-owners and stylists Joey Festa and Matt DiBartolo welcome new stylist Shannon McIntyre, who previously worked in several high-profile New Jersey salons.  A graduate of Vidal Sassoon Academy in Los Angeles, Shannon brings fashion and styling experience, including working directly with designers during New York Fashion Week for the past two years, and her considerable skills to Capelli clients.

Hot new Capelli Shop services include Keratin hair treatments, and the same Great Lengths hair extensions worn by celebrities.  Hair styling for formal events, such as proms and weddings, is also now available, complementing the range of professional hair services offered.

After a complete site renovation and update, Capelli opened in March 2009. “We can’t imagine a better first year than the one we’ve had here in Newtown Borough,” said DiBartolo. “We owe our great success to our clients, families and friends, and the community.”

In support of the community and its needs, Capelli Shop is conducting a hair product donations drive beginning in April to benefit A Woman’s Place, the Bucks County domestic violence organization (www.awomansplace.org).  Clients and others who bring good-condition hair products that are more than half full to Capelli will receive ten per cent off Capelli hair products, including all-natural Davines from Parma, Italy.

Festa and DiBartolo are continually refreshing the salon’s eccentric interior, recently adding more original art work and vintage furnishings.  They have also redesigned the Capelli web site, www.thecapellishop.com.  “It’s all about client service, whether in the salon or online,” said Festa.
