Nexus-Europe expands its operations into India

Nexus-Europe GmbH brings to India its European recipe for business expansion. The provider of exhibition and marketing services parlays its reputation for reliability and results into a new branch operating in India.

March 30, 2010 - PRLog -- BERLIN — Companies throughout India with an interest to expand their business into the fast growing Russian market are receiving some valuable assistance. For seven years Nexus has offered a variety of support staff and services to foreign businesses from its office in Russia. Two years ago Nexus opened an office in Germany to better serve its European clients. Now Nexus-Europe GmbH (www.nexus-gmbh.biz ) launches an office in India to provide the same quality services from a more centralized and convenient location, and companies across India are discovering the benefits.

“Our sole purpose is to provide our clients with the vital expertise and contacts required for them to successfully enter Russia and to remain competitive and profitable,” says Dr. Svetlana Mamkina, the founder and managing director of Nexus-Europe. “My staff at Nexus is without equal. The collected expertise, education and professionalism of these men and women are the source of a level of service that is unmatched in the industry.”

Those services include market research and strategy planning; discovering potential distributors and distribution networks within Russia; professional quality interpreting and translation; acquisition of government required certification, approvals and permits; negotiation consulting and assistance; participation at industrial conferences, forums and round tables; group pavilion at trade exhibitions, as well as individualized exhibition preparation; secretarial correspondence and telephone service in Russian and in the client’s language; even travel support and executive charter flights. "It's everything any company will need, all available in one place," notes Mamkina.

Unlike many other companies, Nexus is not limited to a single product or trade. "Our government and business contacts are wide, including oil and gas, chemical and petrochemical, medical, construction, agricultural and heavy equipment to name just a few.” Mamkina says. “That allows us to work with companies from a variety of industries, and to make the planning that is the foundation for any successful venture.”

Nexus personnel work diligently for their clients. Part of the planning that Mamkina speaks about is the preparation that she feels is too often ignored or undervalued. “Strategy making and market research are critical,” Mamkina notes. “You have to identify where you fit in the marketplace, and who will benefit from your product or service. Then you need to make these people aware that you exist.” It sounds simple, but it is not. Russia is a diverse country with an equally diverse culture and mentality. Dr. Mamkina’s staff, which to many appears more like a university faculty, has an insider’s knowledge of this mentality. Together with the vast resources they have acquired through their years of experience, the Nexus staff can prepare a market strategy and schedule meetings with the decision-making and authoritative people who will be most receptive to their clients. “We prefer to leave nothing to chance,” says Mamkina with pride.

Equally challenging is trying to understand, and be understood, amongst the variety of languages present in the modern international business venue. “I can say with confidence that we have the finest group of interpreters available,” says Mamkina. “Their mastery of the spoken language is exceptional, but I also feel it is equally important that our interpreters have the same level of expertise to read, write and translate written materials.” Nexus’ interpreters are in high demand for trade exhibitions, conferences and seminars, personal business meetings and negotiations, and for translation of sales and technical texts, brochures, contracts and materials for publication.

Also largely forgotten in the business expansion model is the requirement to receive from Russia product certification and a certificate of conformity. Without this no product can enter Russia for sale or distribution. “Even after your product has been exhibited and buyers or distributors have been found, the process is not yet finished,” Mamkina informs. “Product certification in Russia, and certificate of conformity, are already very difficult bridges to cross for Russians. For foreigners it can be a nightmare.” There are sometimes more than one hundred tests that must be performed under controlled government supervision to earn product certification and a certificate of conformity. This can seem to be an endless and expensive process without certainty of a positive result. “I am very proud that we have assembled a team that makes this process understandable and, most importantly, quick and reliable.”

“It is my intention to provide each and every necessary service to assist Indian companies to successfully expand their business into Russia,” says Mamkina. “I believe the free flow of products and services benefit both Indian companies and Russian companies and consumers alike. Anything to help make this a reality is the goal of me and my company.”

Nexus makes this a reality every day.
