Recently Released Jack Black Performance Remedy Sun Guard Sunscreen SPF 45 First Review

It is designed to offer the maximum sun screen protection for men who live their lives to the extreme. Sun Guard is made for people that like to get out and make the world their playground.

Jack Black Sun Guard is made to be water resistant and not rub off during peak physical activity and will not come off while sweating. Most Sun Screens come off and lose the sun protection after a few minutes of sweating or being in the water, but there is no reason to worry about that with Jack Black Performance Remedy Sun Guard.

If you have read any of my other product reviews you probably know that I am a huge advocate of sun protection. The reason for this is that UVA / UVB rays are the number cause of skin damage and speeds up the aging process exponentially. If you want to keep your skin looking healthy and youthful for years to come you need to invest in products that protect your skin for the sun’s harmful rays.

I for one have always been a fan of Jack Black. There are pioneers in the Men’s skin care industry and have developed many of my favorite products. So when I heard that they were coming out with a Sun Guard that was designed exclusively for active men, I was pretty excited.

So for my test of Jack Black’s Performance Remedy Sun Guard with SPF 45 I called my local golf course and set up a tee time at 10 AM. This would put me playing golf through 12 O’clock which is the peak time that the sun inflicts it damage. I live in Orlando and it gets very hot here so if Sun Guard can protect me in Florida, I have faith that it can protect most everyone.

So before going to the golf course I opened my bottle of Jack Black Sun Guard and squeezed a little into my hand. It looked like most sun screens looks, and had the standard sun screen smell, but that is where the similarities stopped. Sun Guard applied extremely evenly and rubbed in very nicely. I only had to use two dime size amount to cover the majority of my arms and even less than that to cover my face. This was the least amount of sunscreen I have ever used to play golf, so needless to say a little goes a long way. Jack Black claims that this product doesn’t leave an oily residue on the skin after applying it, so I gave it a minute or two and felt my face and arms. True to their claims, there was absolutely no oily residue on my skin. I was very surprised like this as many sunscreens claim to not leave an oily residue but always seems to very oily.

So far I was really digging this new product, but the true test is if it protected my skin from the sun, even after me sweating all day. So I headed to the golf course and played a solid 18 holes, Not very well I might add. But after the round my arms and face did not show any sign of sunburn in any way what so ever. I was extremely impressed.

So in conclusion I am hooked on Jack Black Sun Guard. It applies evenly, You don’t need to use very much, It doesn’t leave any oily residue and it protects your skin from the sun no matter what you throw at it.
