Substance Abuse Testing For Toronto Councillors and Employees Effective January 1st 2011

March 29, 2010 - PRLog -- A random drug testing program should be implemented for all members of Toronto council, all civic employees union and non union alike including the Police, Fire, EMS and TTC effective January 1st 2011 as a condition of continuing employment with the city.

Councillors and employees should expect to be contacted for random Alcohol and/or Controlled Substance test on any day/time during their normal scheduled duties.

The program would also be required for all people receiving welfare payments from the city.
