London tea entrepreneur, MayKingTea, debuts at Whitecross Street Market

March 29, 2010 - PRLog -- London, Monday, 29th March 2010.  May King Tsang, owner of MayKingTea, a company which provides the finest quality loose leaf teas and organic herbal infusions from around the world, is pleased to announce that she’ll soon be selling her teas at Whitecross Street Market, London.  She joins other speciality food traders at one London’s oldest markets from Thursday, 1st April 2010 – and every Thursday between 11am – 4pm until further notice.

“Whitecross Street Market is the perfect place for me to sell my tea” says May King. “Visitors to the market are not looking for food and drink that they can find in their local supermarket.  They are looking for a superior product sold by traders who passionately care about the origins and benefits of their goods”.

May King recently joined the ranks of the world’s tea elite after graduating from the USA’s Specialty Tea Institute’s tea certification programme, and became the UK’s first and only Certified Tea Specialist.   As a result, May King has a deep understanding of the differences in taste, origin and the health benefits of the 5 basic tea types: white, green, oolong, black and pu-erh.   She regular shares with her customers the secrets to making the perfect cup of tea in a two hour tea tasting experience called “Around the World in Eight Tea Cups”.
