First, speak to the coaches and tell them why you want to play for the college team. Express to them your dedication to basketball and how motivated you are to be on a winning team. Second, talk to your high school basketball coach and see if he can mention to the college coaches what a valuable player you are.

Third, practice as much as you can for the try outs. Remember that dribbling is fundamental to basketball. It allows you to move on the basketball court while in possession of the basketball.
