By: Stonebrook Dental The brand new Oral Cancer Screening Program which is sponsered by Zila, will take place on Saturday May 8, 2010 from 9am-2pm in Dr.Nathan Haas' modern Bathurst Street Dental Office (Bathurst Medical Centre-4256 Bathurst St. just south of Sheppard Ave). This program has been developed to educate the public on the prevalence of oral cancer in to our population. Oral cancer is showing up in all age groups, not just those who smoke or drink. Recent increases in oral cancer has been linked to the prevalence of HPV virus which can be completely symptomless.
