Honor Your Favorite Nurse by Nominating Him or Her for Nurse of the Year

March 24, 2010 - PRLog -- Know a nurse who has meant something to you?  Someone who eases the pain of a shot and makes you laugh at each appointment?  Country Cottage in Russellville is sponsoring the Franklin County Nurse of the Year Award to recognize that extraordinary, caring nurse who always helps out.  Nominations will be taken through Thursday, April 15th.

“We want to honor the contributions of nurses in our community,” said Regina Lawler, Resident Services Director of Country Cottage.  “This is our fourth year to sponsor this award, and we want everyone to get involved and show our nurses how much we appreciate them.”

Nominations can be mailed to the Cottage at 900 North Jackson Avenue or faxed to 332-4707.  You can also submit an electronic nomination by going to www.cottageassistedliving.com/NOY.  A selection committee of community leaders will review the nominations and select a winner to be announced at a ceremony on Thursday, May 6th.  Preliminary ceremony plans include recognition of all nurses who are nominated and a presentation of $250 to the Nurse of the Year.

“Everyone in Franklin County is encouraged to nominate their favorite nurse,” said Lawler.
