AirWalk Communications Among First to Develop CDMA Femtocells Using FSM Chipsets from Qualcomm

March 24, 2010 - PRLog -- AirWalk Communications, a leading developer and innovator of advanced CDMA technologies, today announced it has been working with Qualcomm Incorporated to design a family of femtocell products using Qualcomm’s new Femtocell Station Modem™ (FSM™) integrated system-on-a-chip (SoC) device. The new femtocell product designs utilize a platform that offers an unprecedented level of integration in a single device while preserving existing software application interfaces to maximize the reuse of femtocell voice and data application software.

AirWalk’s EdgePoint™ line of highly intuitive femtocell products meets the needs of enterprises and consumers who demand constantly connected lifestyles.
