Scrumdown! Rugby legends support Avanta at Sparks charity dinner

March 24, 2010 - PRLog -- Sponsored by Avanta Managed Offices, the evening kicks off at 6.30pm at Vanilla in London’s Great Tichfield Street with special guests including rugby greats such as Kenny Logan, Peter Scrivener and Damien Cronin, as well as leading rugby commentator John Taylor and Kenny’s wife, award-winning sports TV and radio presenter Gabby Logan. Following a superb three-course dinner, guests will enjoy a Q&A session with the celebrities, including a post 6 Nations ‘inquest’ from some of top stars from the rugby world, and then have the chance to bid on a range of amazing items up for grabs in a special auction.  

“This is the 5th year that we having supported Spark’s charity sporting events,” comments David Alberto, Avanta’s managing director, “and despite the tough global economic climate I believe that the research charity, whose sole remit is to fund research across the whole spectrum of paediatric medicine, well deserves all the support that we can provide.”

Without such partnerships, much of that important lifesaving, life-enhancing research simply wouldn’t kick off and that would be tragic. The money raised at the rugby dinner will help Sparks-funded doctors and researchers give more children the chance of a healthy, winning future.”
