Low Cost Injection Molded Light Shaping Diffuser® Lenses For LED Lighting

March 24, 2010 - PRLog -- These lenses are available in custom sizes and shapes in a variety of symmetrical and asymmetrical beam angles making them suitable for recessed down-lights as well as Parabolic Aluminized Reflector (PAR) and Multifaceted Reflector (MR) lamp formats.

The monolithic integration of the device’s micro-structure into the exit window of a lamp results in a rigid lens with very high light transmission, a smooth frosty finish and a controlled beam pattern.  They can be made at low cost in quantities of 50,000 or more.
