International Trade Center-SBDC Business Counselor to Speak at Global Export Training Seminar

The International Trade Center’s award winning Global Market Series-Export Training, available by webinar or seminar, welcomes International Trade Counselor Kristin Drauschke to speak on topics of Resources & Market Analysis for new exporters.

March 31, 2010 - PRLog -- The Global Market Series-Export Certification, an award winning seven part series presented by industry experts and certified by the U.S. Department of Commerce, will be available by webinar/seminar and will feature Kristin Drauschke, International Trade Counselor at the International Trade Center-SBDC (Small Business Development Center). She will be speaking April 15th and address topics regarding Resources & Market Analysis and ways that small business can explore potentials of export trade. Attendees can participate in person or via webinar.  

Kristin Drauschke is an import from Germany who studied International Business Administration on a full scholarship in Germany, France, and Mexico.  After completing her degree requirements, Kristin was recruited by Robert Bosch GmbH in Germany as an International pre-sales consultant for communication projects. Her principle responsibility included leading and implementing communication center projects across Europe.  
   
Since becoming a part of the International-SBDC team, Kristin promotes the services of the I-SBDC and consults with small business owners on how to research, pursue and market international business opportunities.

The full Export Certificate Program seminar series covers the steps in the export process with a strong emphasis on compliance. The Export Certificate Program welcomes other leading industry experts on related topics including: identifying public resources available to assist in country research and financing; learning the government agencies role in export procedures; mandatory compliance requirements regarding such topics as licensing and record keeping requirements and penalties; becoming familiar with non U.S. regulations and compulsory marks; the basics of international payment procedures; and how to work with your customs broker and freight forwarder to navigate the logistics and documentation maze.

The complete Export Session Series dates are April 15, 22 and 29, 2010.  
Morning Sessions: 8:00am-10:00am & 10:30am-noon.
Afternoon Session: 1:00-2:30 pm.
