This type of therapy involves health care rehabilitation treatments for individuals developing, maintaining and restoring maximum movement of body throughout their life. The treatments generally include conditions where movement and functioning of the body are threatened by aging, disease, injury and environmental factors. Physical therapists are medical professionals who are trained to perform these kinds of treatments on patients. This is not a job just anyone can perform. You will need to obtain a degree in this specialized field of health care and once coursework is successfully completed, you may become a therapist.
