March 21, 2010 - PRLog -- The United Aesthetics Organization, Inc. has named Shelley Fridman as Vice President of Business Affairs.  Fridman, a licensed aesthetician with an extensive background in the day-to-day operations of running a business, is also one of the co-founders of the new organization.
    United Aesthetics Organization, Inc. was founded to enhance the image and practices of professionals in the aesthetics field and encourage its members to adhere to the highest standards in the industry.
    Prior to joining UAO, Fridman has served as Vice President and Business Manager of Universal Cooling & Contracting, LLC; Director of Human Resources & Controller of Magnolia Health Services, Inc.; and Broker Assistant for Commodity Associates and Arbitrage for Bruckman Trading Group.
    “Shelley was a natural choice as Vice President of Business Affairs due to strong work ethic, her business acumen, and her knowledge of aesthetics,” said Martha Hoffman, president/CEO of the United Aesthetics Organization, Inc. “We are pleased to have her as a part of our team, and I know our members will be equally pleased to have her as a resource.”
    The United Aesthetics Organization, Inc. will offer ongoing educational programs, seminars and workshops; discounts for goods and services; access to job postings; networking opportunities with other professionals; a mentoring program; quarterly meetings and newsletter; guest speakers; individualized promotional opportunities for each member, and limited financial assistance for ongoing education.  Membership is $50 a year. Sponsorships are also available.
         The organization’s kick off event will be “Forecasting a Beautiful Future,” Tuesday, April 27 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the International Academy of Hair Design & Aesthetics, 4812 S. Mill Ave. in Tempe, AZ.   The keynote speaker will be Lydia Sarfati, founder and president of Repêchage, the first company to bring seaweed-based skincare treatments and cosmetics to the U.S. Market.
